Too often, we go through our spiritual lives feeling this way; we are weary, but doing nothing about it. We assume this is just how we are supposed to feel, so we just try and shoulder the burden of these feelings without seeking any type of help or solution.


Doing the Next Right Thing

I believe that doing the right thing is such an incredibly important step that is essential to living our purpose. I know, this seems like it does not need to even be stated, but the problem is that the obvious instructions are, often times, the ones we struggle with the most, because we assume we have them down.

Chaotic Christmas

We sing songs like Silent Night, and we expect all to be calm and all to be bright. We expect everything to fall into place just like a lifetime Christmas special, and I think these expectations can set us up for some real disappointment. Honestly, I feel like Black Friday shopping is a better analogy for the Christmas season than Silent Night.
